Area Schools

Four school districts divide the county and provide educational opportunities for the nearly 2,000 children that reside here.

• Weaubleau R-III educates more than 450 students in its elementary, middle and high schools.
• Wheatland R-II, located on South Highway 83, hosts slightly more than 300 children in its elementary and high schools.
• Hermitage R-IV School District serves more than 300 students in its elementary, middle and high schools.
• Hickory County R-I consists of Skyline Elementary School and Skyline High School. Nearly 800 Hickory county children attend these two schools located in Urbana.
